Ingredients:
- Fish fillets (Surmai/King fish) 750g
- Water 3-4 Cups
- Sirka (Vinegar) 2 tbs
- Dahi (Yogurt) whisked ½ Cup
- Lal mirch powder (Red chilli powder) ½ tsp or to taste
- Namak (Salt) ½ tsp or to taste
- Haldi powder (Turmeric powder) ½ tsp
- Dhania powder (Coriander powder) ½ tsp
- Adrak lehsan paste (Ginger garlic paste) 1 tsp
- Cooking oil 3-4 tbs
- Rai dana (Mustard seeds) 1 tsp
- Methi dana (Fenugreek seeds) 1 tsp
- Curry patta (Curry leaves) 14-15
- Adrak lehsan paste (Ginger garlic paste) 1 tsp
- Haldi powder (Turmeric powder) ½ tsp
- Lal mirch powder (Red chilli powder) ½ tsp or to taste
- Dhania powder (Coriander powder) ½ tsp
- Namak (Salt) ½ tsp or to taste
- Hari mirch (Green chillies) 3-4
- Kasuri methi (Dried fenugreek leaves) 1 tsp
Directions:
In a bowl,add king fish fillets,water,vinegar,mix well and let it rest for 15-20 minutes then strain & set aside.
In a bowl,add yogurt,red chilli powder,salt,turmeric powder,coriander powder,ginger garlic paste & whisk well.
Add fish fillets and mix well,cover & marinate for 30 minutes.
In a wok,add cooking oil,mustard seeds,fenugreek seeds,curry leaves & mix well.
Add ginger garlic paste & mix well.
Add turmeric powder,red chilli powder,coriander powder,salt,mix well and cook for a minute.
Add marinated fish & marinade & cook on medium flame for 6-8 minutes & turn sides in between,cover & cook for 8-10 minutes.
Slit green chillies with the help of knife.
In a wok,ad green chillies,dried fenugreek leaves,cover & simmer on low flame for 2-3 minutes.
Serve with roti or rice!

Bowl mein surmai fish fillets,pani aur sirka dal ker ache tarhan mix karein aur 15-20 minutes kliya chor dein phir strain ker ka side per rakh dein.
Bowl mein dahi,lal mirch powder,namak,haldi powder,dhania powder aur adrak lehsan paste dal ker ache tarhan whisk ker lein.
Fish fillets dal ker ache tarhan mix karein aur dhak ker 30 minutes kliya marinate ker lein.
Karahi mein cooking oil,rai dana,methi dana aur curry patta dal ker ache tarhan mix ker lein.
adrak lehsan paste dal ker ache tarhan mix karein.
Haldi powder,lal mirch powder,dhania powder aur namak dal ker ache tarhan mix karein aur ek minute kliya paka lein.
Marinated fish ko marinade ka saath dal dein aur darmiyani ancch per 6-8 minutes kliya paka lein aur bech mein sides change kertay rahein aur dhak ker 8-10 minutes kliya paka lein.
Hari mirch ko knife ki madad sa slit ker lein.
Karahi mein hari mirchein aur kasuri methi dal dein aur dhak ker halki ancch per 2-3 minutes kliya paka lein.
