Daging Belengas with Rice

Ingredients:

-Pyaz (Onion) 1 small

-Lehsan (Garlic) cloves 5-6

-Adrak (Ginger) 1-inch piece

-Water 3 tbs

-Boneless beef preferably undercut cut in slices 500g with 15% fat

-Water 1 & ½ Cup

-Himalayan pink salt ½ tsp or to taste

-Haldi powder (Turmeric powder) ½ tsp

-Cooking oil 3 tbs

-Kali mirch powder (Black pepper powder) ½ tsp

-Soy sauce 3 tbs

-Sweet chilli sauce 4 tbs

-Oyster sauce 2 tbs

-Pyaz (Onion) rings 1 small

-Gajar (Carrot) julienne ¼ Cup

-French beans 4-5

-Dry red chillies 2

-Hari mirch (Green chillies) 2

 

Directions:

-In a spice grinder,add onion,garlic,ginger,water,grind well & set aside.

-In a wok,add beef,water,turn on the flame,bring it to boil & remove scum.

-Add pink salt & mix well,cover & cook on low flame until beef is tender (30 minutes).

-Add turmeric powder,cooking oil,mix well & cook on medium flame for a minute.

-Now add ground paste,mix well & cook on medium flame until it dries up & oil separates.

-Add black pepper powder,soy sauce,sweet chilli sauce,oyster sauce,mix well & cook on high flame for 1-2 minutes.

-Add onion,carrots,French beans,dry red chilli,green chillies & mix well.

-Serve with boiled rice or bread!
