Eid Special Sheer Khurma – Low Carb

Everyone should be able to have sheet khurma even if your doctor has told you to keep away from sugar. This recipe if a super easy one and completely without sugar. Ingredients:

-Ghee (Clarified butter) 2 tbs

-Pista (Pistachio) sliced 2 tbs

-Badam (Almond) sliced 2 tbs

-Sawaiyan (Vermicelli) ½ Cup

-Doodh (Milk) 1 litre

-Chuwaray (Dry dates) deseeded & sliced 4-5 (soaked in ½ Cup of milk for overnight)

-Stevia 1 tbs

-Hari elaichi (Green cardamom) crushed ½ tsp

-Kewra water ½ tsp

-Pista (Pistachio) sliced

-Rose petals

 

Direction:

-In frying pan,add clarified butter & let it melt.

-Add pistachio,almond,mix well & fry on low flame for 1-2 minutes.

-Add vermicelli,mix well & fry on low flame until fragrant & set aside.

-In a pan,add milk,mix continuously & cook on low flame for 2-3 minutes.

-Now add soaked dry dates,mix well & cook on medium flame until milk is reduce to half quantity.

-Add fried nuts & vermicelli,mix well & cook on medium flame until desired consistency.

-Add stevia & mix well.

-Add green cardamom,kewra water & mix well.

-Garnish with pistachio & rose petals.
