How to Boil and Store Pasta/Spaghetti

Ingredients:

-Water 2 litre

-Iodized Himalayan Pink salt 1 tbs

-Pasta 500g

-Cooking oil as required

 

Directions:

-In a pot,add water,pink salt,mix well & bring it to boil.

-Add pasta & boil until 90% done (less cooking time than the pack’s instructions) then strain & rinse with cold water to stop the cooking process.

-Spread immediately so it doesn’t stick together.

-Drizzle cooking oil & mix well.

How to store Boiled Pasta?

-Place boiled pasta in an airtight container & store in refrigerator for 3-5 days. In the freezer shelf life is 1-2 months.

How to use frozen pasta?

-Don’t thaw, just add the frozen pasta directly to a prepared sauce & cook as per recipe.
