Palmiers with Puff Pastry/ Sugary Heart Biscuits

Ingredients:

-Dry flour as required

-Puff pastry 500g

-Bareek cheeni (Caster sugar) 2 tbs or as required

-Anda (Egg) white 1

-Brown sugar 2 tbs

-Bareek cheeni (Caster sugar) 2 tbs

-Darchini powder (Cinnamon powder) ½ tsp

-Bareek cheeni (Caster sugar)

 

Directions:

-On a cutting board,dust dry flour,add puff-pastry & roll out with the help of a rolling pin.

-Sprinkle caster sugar & roll gently then flip & apply egg white.

-In a bowl,add brown sugar,caster sugar,cinnamon powder & mix well.

-Sprinkle cinnamon & sugar mixture,fold 1 & ½ inch rolled puff-pastry from left & right for 3 times and refrigerate for 10 minutes then cut into ½ inch slices & make heart shape & place in a baking tray (greased & lined with baking paper),brush egg white & sprinkle caster sugar.

-Bake in preheated oven at 190°C for 10-12 minutes.

-Let them cool (makes 30-32).

-Serve with tea!
