Peach Squash

Ingredients:

-Peach 700g

-Water 1 Cup

-Sugar 600g

-Water 2 & ½ Cups

-Lemon juice ¼ Cup

-Tatri (Citric acid) ¼ tsp

-Himalayan pink salt ½ tsp or to taste

-Ice cubes

-Peach slices

-Podina (Mint leaves)

 

Directions:

-Cut peach into cubes & deseed them.

-In a blending jug,add peaches,water,blend well then strain well & set aside.

-In a wok,add sugar,water,turn on the flame,mix well & cook until sugar is dissolved.

-Add strained peach mixture & mix well.

-Add lemon juice,citric acid,pink salt,mix well & cook on medium flame for 8-10 minutes.

-Let it cool completely.

-Peach squash can be stored for up to 1 month in refrigerator (Yield: approx. 2 litre).

-In a jug,add cold water (3 cups),peach squash (1 cup) & mix well.

-In a serving glass,add ice cubes,peach slices,prepared peach drink,mint leaves & serve!
